Over this past week, a retired businessman from Florida contributed 15 acres of lands in the city of Londonville in Central Trinidad. He wants us to build the Himalayan Education Center. He is committed to raise $5 million USD to get the project off the grounds. He is making another adjacent 25 acres available for expansion in the near future. The property is 20 minutes from the Piarco International Airport and transportation will be very easy for students. The location is Central to all sides of the country with all ammenities like water, lights, roads and proper drainage. We are very blessed to have this desire of Swami Hari come into fruition after his Maha Samadhi.
I would like to invite educators and meditators from the Swami Rama Himalayan Tradition to be part of the ‘Board of Directors’. More so, consideration will be given to those with MS degrees and Ph.D degrees in any career. I am currently inviting candidates as members on the Board of Trustees with business administration and financial management background, to micro manage the property and construction of the Himalayan College Campus.
